Jim has over a decade of experience working at large corporate law firms in Charlotte, NC and Boston, MA. He has counseled individuals, developers, brokers, lenders, and companies with complex commercial and residential real estate, financing and business transactions. Jim has the skills and experience to provide dynamic, results-oriented legal representation.

Jim has owned and operated a successful boat rental business on Nantucket, Island Boat Rental, since 2011. Being an entrepreneur provides important perspective in understanding clients’ objectives, along with assessing and balancing risks related to real estate and business matters.

Jim has served as a member of the Nantucket Zoning Board of Appeals since 2015 and is a USGC Certified Captain.

When he is not working, you can find Jim with his family fishing, clamming, and boating.
